First, let me address some of the issues that other people have had. When people say they're annoyed that it doesn't fit their giant TVs, it's because you make the square too big. If you want your lights to be at the top, bottom, and either side, you don't need to place the lights all the way to the edge of the TV, you need to place them closer to the center of the TV. Personally, I kept the light about 4 inches from the edge of the TV and was able to fully cover both sides and the top. It works fine for me, there are no dark spots around the TV. Another problem is that the strand does not stick to the TV. One of two things happens: 1. they try to stick it on a dusty TV, or 2. they did what I did and peeled off both the backing and the adhesive strip. I went to remove the backing for the sticky material and found that it wasn't sticking to my TV, but the backing grabbed the hairs on my arms and tugged. I looked closely and saw that the sticky material peeled away from the light-colored thread as easily as I imagined the substrate should peel away from the sticky material. I put the sticky material back onto the light strand and this time I just removed the backing. It was so sticky that putting it in the wrong place took a lot of effort to push it away just to move it. I have attached the photos below for reference. It's a 55 inch TV and it easily illuminates the wall behind it. To be honest these photos don't capture the brightness as you can see in the 3rd shot compared to the last 2 (I have the same light on in all 3 shots but the 3rd and 4th shots do things very dark on a bright TV due to camera focusing.The reason you can't see the white light from the sides of the TV is that my TV is in a corner and both sides are almost touching the wall.The light comes on and switches with my tv out as described they leave a nice white glow on the wall behind i love watching tv in the dark but my fiancee hates it at least she is used to it now she loves watching tv in the dark dark am very happy am actually ordering another one few filaments for my other TVs!
