This kvm did not work properly at all. No matter how much I tweaked my system settings, I couldn't get everything to work as intended. The connections weren't very good because I had to place the switch in the right place or it would turn off. My keyboard and mouse didn't work at all when connected to the Switch. I thought maybe I had a defect so I asked for a replacement. A few days later I got a replacement and basically the same. This time the video wouldn't turn off unless the switch was in the exact right spot, but it didn't recognize my second monitor at all, mouse and keyboard still didn't work when connected to the switch. I also used brand new Displayport cables that were tested before connecting to the switch. So I have to say that I cannot recommend this switch to anyone.
