Review on Valco Baby Snap Duo Fire Stroller: Perfect Twin Stroller for Busy Parents by Edyta Krawczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

I took the stroller and bassinet separately. The cradles are a delight. Very thoughtful fastening, easily changed the stroller seats to cradles. You can combine the seat and carrycot. The cradles themselves are easily removed for transportation, folded (about 10 cm in height). For the summer there are meshes for ventilation, for the winter everything is closed, in the winter they managed in cradles with ordinary winter overalls and blankets. But since the cradles themselves are small (there is no other way for a double stroller) they used them until about 7-8 months of age, and then the walking blocks were returned back. The second half of the winter was successfully skated with fur envelopes in walking seats, with capes on the legs. Yes, and the children could already rise in the seats, and not just look at the sky lying down. The seating areas are quite spacious. Children in winter clothes are easily accommodated (I think they will accommodate one more winter in envelopes without any problems). Even more so in summer. Of course, it is convenient that the seats are separate (not always the case), so while one child sits and plays, the other can sleep normally.

Pros
  • Lightweight yet durable in construction. Small enough for a double stroller. With row-by-row seating, it is hardly possible to further reduce the width (75 cm). And in length and so a standard meter. Folds up comfortably. The cradles also fold compactly, so they can fit in the trunk of almost any car (we don’t take sports cars, convertibles, etc.) . Universal (you can put cradles instead of walking seats, the procedure is simple, everything is well thought out). Good balance (in the walking version) to lift the front wheels on curbs (harder with cradles). Good cross (winter can be used). Good maneuverability (with remark below). Walking seats are laid out completely in the supine position. A large hood (separately for each seat) protects against light rain even without a raincoat. In general, it is comfortable, there are pockets for small things, a tray for large things. Convenient parking brake (shoes do not get dirty).
Cons
  • Narrow footboard, children's legs hang all the time on the sides, do not lie on the footboard if it is raised. In the unfolded position, the walking seats from the side of the head are covered with a mesh (for ventilation), but the valves made of dense fabric (which should cover the mesh) are fastened only in a few places with Velcro, so they almost do not save from the wind. In a sitting position, of course, there is no such problem. I personally don't like seat belts. Uncomfortable to fasten. It is impossible, for example, to fasten the waist first, and then fasten the shoulder to them. Well, the shoulder pads are not attached in any way, they were lost almost immediately (although there is no need for them). Poor standard equipment: nets, raincoats, capes on the legs - everything must be purchased separately. All things considered, the price is too high. Alas, there are no special alternatives, even at this cost. About maneuverability: everything is fine for the most part, but when entering and leaving the elevator, from the doors (when you first drive with your back, and then forward), exit the curb, etc. the front wheels begin to turn at random and become in a rush, so that the stroller butts up and does not go. Infuriates. As you can see, the author of the negative review here just broke it out of anger ;-) Another cape on the legs (for the walking block) is stupid, it is attached inconveniently, dangles.
