Review on WiFi router TP-LINK TL-MR3020, white by Ada Sutor ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

I'm not a programmer, I'm just fond of it. I help almost all of my friends set up networking equipment and have never had a problem setting up routers and routers of all types. But distributing the Internet from this router turned out to be a non-trivial task. So, in order to distribute PPPoE Internet, you need to: switch the router to 3G mode, press quic setup, select any type of 3g modem, then we get to the menu where we select “wan primary” (or some synonymous wording), after which we get to the normal PPPoE setup menu. I struggled all day until I figured out how to do it. Maybe I’m slowing down, but I didn’t succeed in distributing home Internet by any other means. By the way, the signal of this device easily overcomes one capital (brick! Not reinforced concrete!) wall. I bought this device for travel. I think that for the home this device is not so convenient and functional. And on business trips, it is very functional (it will distribute a wired Internet, and a 3g router) and at the same time it takes up almost no space.

Pros
  • Small, nice build quality, white wires included, cute network cable =) I was pleased with the price, I took it for 890. Good transfer speed. There is such a mode: when the main Internet falls off, the router distributes the Internet from the 3g modem (you can change the priority to 3g primary).
Cons
  • Setting up PPPoE home wired Internet to be distributed through this device is not a trivial task.
