Overall very handy for beginners or for use in tight spaces. We've burned through even the smallest tip of a soldering iron, because the sponge is a little thicker than a letter in an envelope. Be sure to get a brass mesh to clean your soldering tips to keep them cleaner longer, especially for this kit. Overall, everything looks pretty cheap, not necessarily bad. The soldering iron itself is also quite cheap and made of plastic on the housing. The stand is not weighted, rather thin, so carefully insert the soldering iron. Not meant to be thrown at him. I am very grateful that it comes with a desoldering pump and a nice little tube of flux paste. And some connecting wires. Although there isn't really an indication or specification as to the type of wire or small soldering spool it comes with. I haven't read the eBook but I can update my review later. In summary is a good value. to start practicing or to be on hand in an emergency. Comes with a lot of stuff but some important things are missing.
