Review on LH DKDB 8 Inch Left Hand DK3100 Machine by Brian Campbell

I bought these to replace the original one that came with my Kreg jig. I dropped the original and it broke in half. I was very surprised but decided to try this one. Although I haven't used it yet, I was very impressed when I first saw it. The small point that drills the pilot hole for the screw is very sharp. It's shaped like a V, with each point sharpened so much that I'm sure it will actually cut you if you're not careful. Completely different from the original. The shank that is inserted into the drill chuck has flattened sides for better fixation. The only question I have is why does it have a left turn? It must have something to do with copyright infringement of the original. Aside from having to run the drill backwards I'm sure I'll be very happy with it. I hope it doesn't break in half if I drop it. I would give this one 5 stars if it had a right turn but I don't think it would be a problem at all.
