Review on 🔌 Hitron MoCA 2.5 Network Adapter for Ethernet Over Coax (2-Pack), 1 Gbps Ethernet, 2.5 Gbps via Coax Cables, Ideal for Home Mesh WiFi, Streaming, Gaming, HT-EM4 by Eloy Boelkens

After a bit of research I settled on this brand. I've never heard of Hitron, but looking at their website, it looks like Hitron is a huge company founded in 1986 and based in Taiwan. This immediately made me choose this product over other popular, unnamed, and possibly unsupported MoCa adapters. Well, today I received my order for 2 of these adapters and immediately installed them in a rented apartment. No setup was required and they started working right away. I have a pretty good internet connection, over 900Mbps for both download and upload. The end result with two HT-EM4 was about 700-800 Mbit/s download and 200 Mbit/s download. I ran several speed tests with different servers and the results were pretty consistent. By the way, the default username and password for the web interface is "admin". The adapters are made in Vietnam and are generally of high quality. It comes with a coaxial cable as well as a high-quality Ethernet cable. I would say the device is small and as mentioned before it worked great without any setup. In conclusion, I can only recommend it and plan to buy another one. This saved me from problems with inconsistent WiFi speeds around the apartment. I get 250Mbps and sometimes only 10-20Mbps. That no longer exists, and as always, a wired connection is usually better. UPDATE (12/21/20): I've been using it for about 20 days and it powers the Virtualizer server on the other end, no issues so far. No packet errors and no disconnections. Adapters do not get hot and work perfectly. Very satisfied!
