Cookware breaks down and exposes your pets to toxins. I wash my bowls mostly every night at night. But first time I left it a full day without cleaning, and by the morning of the next day rust had formed in the bowl. I only use them for water and there is never dirt in them because the water bowls are higher than the tallest bird perches. I also go in with the soft side of the sponge at least 3 times a week and twice just my finger. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your next bowl of water.
