Review on Echogear Cable πŸ”Œ Management with Power Voltage Enhancement by David Silva

Simple and small. Ideal for wall mounted TVs in the living area

I helped my son wall mount his 55 inch flat screen TV in his new apartment. I did quite a bit of research and settled on the full articulation mount and the Echogear In Wall Power Kit. The kit included everything except a screwdriver and a drill. I bought a second one to power my flat screen TV. The instructions are simple and to be honest the whole setup was pretty intuitive. You choose where to hide the holes and use the included hole saw on a standard drill press and you're halfway there. The ring covers snap into place, turn the clamping wings with a screwdriver and you're done. The Romex cables meet regulations for running power behind drywall, leaving enough room to run multiple AV cables. We easily connected 3 HDMI cables and 1 SPDIF cable. Still, I felt like we could hook up another HDMI, Ethernet, and coaxial cable if needed. The hardest and most time consuming part is getting up the courage to just punch a hole in the wall :) After that we had 10 minutes left. the whole project. It worked great and the price is very reasonable. I shopped at two major stores and the cheapest wall wiring kit was over $80 for a much larger kit. This kit is spot on. Ideal for an outlet and multiple commonly used cords. It's as small as it gets and still has room for a full-size power plug and room for AV cables. My son and I were very pleased and I look forward to installing my second set for my TV. Tips, I haven't mentioned guides, online tips and videos here. Of course, make sure your two holes are between the same posts so there is a hollow section of wall between them. The distance between the holes should not exceed 5 feet as this is the distance of the attached Romex. You don't need wire nuts or pullers. Both ends of the power cord terminate in male and female connectors, and a special extension cord is provided to connect the bottom plug to a standard household outlet. Good luck, one of the easiest and most professional wall wiring kits I've ever tried.
