Received today and not used yet. I hope it lives up to its promise when I travel. The extension cord does not indicate that it is a surge protector, as does on the box. I hope that's true! UPDATE September 7th, 2020: I really like this extension. It's perfect for my travels. It's not too big for my "electronics bag". I like USB ports because I don't have enough wired bases to plug everything in and hotel rooms can't always use USB charging only. I'm glad I bought 2 of these and when they become good deals again I might buy a few more as gifts for my friends who travel often. It was definitely a good buy for me!
