I'm new to the world of 3D pens as I just bought one of the low temperature versions for my daughter last Christmas. When it came time to order the refills (I didn't buy them at first as the refills came with the kit) I had no idea how many options there are depending on what type of pen you have, so I bought the wrong type (pla for "adult" pens that get a lot hotter) I decided to just leave them as I was planning on getting one like this eventually and started looking for low temperature specialty filaments . But the brand of pen I received had SO few color options for all PCL filament and I thought I couldn't do anything else as it seems like each brand of pen naturally states that you should only use their own brand. threads. Luckily I got lucky and decided to give this batch a try anyway hoping for the best and lo and behold they work great with our 3D pen! I had no problems and it's nice to know we now have so many color options!
