good monitor I bought this for my 36 year old Apple IIe. The old CRT monitor was dying. It actually works very well with an old computer considering it's a composite video connection. I can't get any sound through, so I can't say anything. The remote control is different from the photo but works perfectly. Note for Apple II users: I also tried this on an Apple II+. While this worked, the text was blurry. I don't see any blurry text on Apple IIe at all. I'm not sure what the difference with the video is between the two models. Both also have 40 characters. Apple II is 40 years old. I feel that with older computers like mine, other factors can contribute to success or failure. After all, these are very old computers.
