Review on Longboards Boundary Longboard Freeride Ultraman by Peter Tennant

Great Deck! But watch out for the fiberglass on the bottom!

This is the best riding board I have ever ridden and I am 59 years old and have been skating since I was 11. Slim and light. Excellent concavity and impact/nose angle. Cons: After a while the paint on the bottom will wear off and one of the two layers of fiberglass will be exposed and get your hands on it while carrying it! The graphics are complex and try to be cool, but I found them quite offensive. Getting fiberglass on the inside of your forearm is itchy and toxic! Bad design! I was looking for a teflon plastic sheet that I could tape/stick to the bottom of the board but I don't think they make it anymore. I'll try a plastic cutting board. You seem to expect the durable and thick paint to protect the fabric. Oops. Not on my board! I've crashed into parking barriers and skateboarded many times, so the underside has suffered a lot. I first noticed it when my arm started itching, but after a few weeks it got worse. I was about to paint it, but how long can that take? Workaround = Always transport it in trucks. I think if I just ride more hardcore then I'll never "carry" my board and will always grind it to the end. all the way up the stairs to my building! giggle
