My hair is in big long curls. I didn't mind folding my hair to fit everything. My problem was putting this thing on my head. My head may be a bit bigger than usual, but I had to cut it at the seam to make it fit. After a few nights it got better. I made a gap down after about 2 weeks. Maybe the weight of the hair. Glad I had more. I gave one to my daughter and have 2 left.
