We bought two of these mattress pads. They worked really well and we planned on getting more until they had been washed about 4 times! Then they both got kicked out. The rubberized coating underneath doesn't seem to hold up to washing. We wash warm and tumble dry low without bleaching. One leaking profile had a visible but very small spot where the rubber appeared to be dissolving, while the other had no visible damage but was still leaking. Very disappointed. The Revain website says there is a guarantee and we will try to find out if the company will replace the product. But I'm not sure if they only last 4 washes it's worth it. Update: Protect A Bed said they would replace the mattress pads when I first called. The company also advised drying the covers with bath towels to prevent the backing from overheating, scratching, or sticking to the dryer surface.
