I bought 2 of these of my girls bunk bed mattresses. They feel thick and not paper like, So I don't expect much noise. The top has a soft layer that was comfortable enough my daughter said not to put her regular sheet back on over. There is a Velcro cover for the zipper which is great for the curious kiddos. I haven't tested the waterproof portion but it feels good like the other ones I've have had. Was very easy to put on as well.

So I first ordered the king 9" encasement. It was a very nice protector with a terry top, just like described. Unfortunately, I misjudged the thickness of my mattress with a new foam topper, so I returned to order the 12" protector. By the way, the price jumped around $10 in one week's time.The 12" one is a different brand and made of completely different materials. The entire thing is made of a nubby material, definitely not terry cloth on top and smooth on the bottom. Already being delayed…

A mattress protector that doesn't make crinkly sounds and fits properly! Hooray! Our mattress height is 13.5" and this protector is a snug fit - it took two of us to put it on - and is exactly what we needed. (When we purchased a new mattress the salesman told us the warranty is void if there are any stains.) We haven't spilled anything on it yet, so the waterproof factor hasn't yet been tested, but we will update this review if there is a change.So far, very happy with purchase.

I can't believe there was a time before I knew these existed.They say an old mattress gets 30-40% heavier after years of using it. That's all from your skin cells and nastiness that comes off into it. Eew.Let's just avoid that and get a good mattress protector. I like this one because it's zippered all the way around and washable. Also, it's way less expensive than if you were to buy one at the mattress store. The mattress store tried to sell me one for over $200.

They don't make you sweat, nice and quiet when you roll over. Takes two people to install that it was pretty easy May not effectively protect against wear and tear on the mattress.

Good, quality material, although I was hoping for 100% cotton (it's only partially cotton). Has a strong zipper and seems to fit our queen-sized mattress perfectly.

I purchased two of these twin mattress encasements for my kids. They have held up wonderfully over the past few months. They are definitely waterproof. My kiddo spilled juice on his bed and nothing soaked through to the mattress. They aren't noisy to sleep on. (I will add that we have memory foam mattresses. That may be the reason for no noise.) They are easy to remove and clean when needed. It was definitely money well spent.

This was supposed to be the 9" deep cover. But this one must be 13". It's way too big. It doesn't fit snug and can't keep the extra material tucked under so it will wrinkle under the sheets. Maybe I can find/make some suspenders to run across under the matress to hold it snug. Otherwise it seems to be stitched well and the zipper didn't bind.

I just received these so cannot rate water resistance or durability, as they’ve not been put to the test. However, I can say that the quality seems very nice. They were easy to put on and fit very well. The zipper works well and my overall impression is positive.

I bought for a dogs bed to protect the inside stuffed mattress. This way I only wash the cover since the crib sheets is supposed to be water proof the actually bed won’t get dirty or stinky. It’s quiet makes less noise than the garbage plastic bag I was using.

This was just what I expected. The material on the top is comfortable and seems durable. It was a little awkward to put on, but it couldn’t have been easier- mattresses are just bulky to move around. But once it was on, it works great and should be perfect to protect against random occasional spills. I would not recommend it for bed-wetting; it would be cumbersome to take it off to wash it often.

I was worried about the size, my new mattress from Costco is about 8-10 inches tall but this fit on like a glove. It has some stretch to it so it helped out a lot. Putting it on is doable with only one person, but if you are out of shape like I am, be prepared to have water next to you lol It has a plastic-like lining on the inside which is nice for spills, cotton towel type on the top. This encasement covered our new 10 inch memory foam mattress very well. Zipped closed nicely. This encasement is protection for the mattress warranty. We have placed an additional water proof mattress cover over this item.

This is easy to put on, has a nice feel to it, and seals up and protects the mattress well. This is protecting a new 8” memory foam mattress plus a 1.5” memory foam mattress topper on an XL Twin bed. I absolutely love the product! Fits the mattress perfectly. Terry cloth upper side is soft and cool. Effectively guards against bed bugs and is very comfotable. Superior in every way to vinyl.
