Review on Twin Size Zippered Mattress Protector Encasement - Premium Terry Absorbent Cover With Six-Sided Waterproof Protection - Quiet, Breathable, And Fully Washable by Jessie Duhon

It'll work. good for me

So I first ordered the king 9" encasement. It was a very nice protector with a terry top, just like described. Unfortunately, I misjudged the thickness of my mattress with a new foam topper, so I returned to order the 12" protector. By the way, the price jumped around $10 in one week's time. The 12" one is a different brand and made of completely different materials. The entire thing is made of a nubby material, definitely not terry cloth on top and smooth on the bottom. Already being delayed and having to return the previous cover, I decided that I didn't care enough to return it as well. It fits my mattress setup like a glove. It was a huge pain to get on since the nubby material kept catching on the metal lattice frame underneath, but we managed with three of us fighting it on.The cover appears to be made with a waterproof interior. Hopefully that's the case; more importantly, I hope it is resistant to dust mites and other allergens.Bottom line, I'm annoyed that it isn't really what I ordered, but it's on and staying there. It's on a spare bed that my kids use one week of the year, so it should be fine. I probably would have returned it if it was on a frequent use bed since it wasn't as described. Hopefully it'll hold up well and prove my concerns unfounded. So I'm reading it 3 stars since it's not really what was described, but it looks like it'll work out.
