Review on Peg Perego Siesta Highchair in Licorice: The Ultimate Seating Solution for Your Baby's Meal Time! by Ada Kolodziey ᠌

The quality is so-so, the price does not match the quality.

I used it with my first child, breathed a sigh of relief when I got rid of this freak. A bulky, clumsy, heavy chair, tight buttons, it is quite difficult to wash (mashed potatoes, cereals and soft crumbs get into all the cracks, and there are many such places in the chair). You can’t just remove the belts, you’ll have to get confused, the side ones can only be unscrewed with a screwdriver. The belt lock broke after half a year, although we didn’t really use it, it just stopped locking in the closed state. The wheel locks also began to seize after half a year. The same thing happened with the table closer to the year of operation. The mesh on the back is quite stupid and not durable. Our kitchen is not small, but at the same time, I still constantly stumbled upon this monster. Inconvenient folding mechanism. When folded, it is rather unstable, it fell on a child once, a couple of times on a dog, it just accidentally hit it, it fell several times. Of the benefits - it folds out conveniently, the seat can be tilted almost horizontally and used as a deck chair from birth, in height it can be lowered completely down to the floor. We used it exclusively as a high chair, so all the pluses are not obvious to me. After a little over a year, I finally got it and I bought a simple IKEA chair, which in the end turned out to be the best and most convenient option - nothing more.

Pros
  • Universal, can be used from birth
Cons
  • Price, weight, dimensions, ill-conceived
