A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

I don’t understand why they write down the lack of stabilization in the review above as a minus:

1) It would affect the price!
2) In the same Sony A7 II or III series there is a stub. Do you think having it in the lens will improve it significantly? I doubt it . Yes, and not everywhere it was useful

Tamron has clearly succeeded in the lens. IMHO, one of the best deals for full frame Sony mirrorless cameras!

Pros

1) Sharpness (slightly inferior to Sony FE 24–70 mm F2.8 GM) 2) Price! 3) Well made 4) Very quiet and fast autofocus (during use I didn’t notice the discussed bug, but after the firmware it began to work better in some moments) 5) 5 year warranty
