Flexible installation fits securely!

This is my second lighting set based on these two installations, here is an overview of this set. Puck lamps are well made. The lamp itself consists of several small LEDs that emit 2 watts of warm orange light. Each washer can be attached with either one of the included double sided foam washers or with the included small screws. I have used both. The bodice is twisted with a few flimsy threads, which can be a problem getting it back on, but if you start with a square bodice, it twists back easily enough. Each light has a DC cable that goes back to an included pair of three DC couplers. The tiny plugs go through a 1/4" diameter hole, and two of these plugs and cords can be threaded through a hole. I used T25 cord clamps to route the wires along the underside and inside the piece of furniture. Toggle switch and proximity sensor to turn on the brightness and dimming. The dimmer adjusts the light from full brightness down to a very low level. With LED washers mounted this close to the artwork below, I set my LEDs to a fairly low level so they are just barely visible in daylight. At night they act as a comfortable night light. The temperature of the LED is a nice warm "Edison bulb" color. It's not orange or blue at all and it's diffused. nice with frosted Covers. There are no ugly artifacts like shadows or hot spots. Installation was easy enough for me, but I spent a lot of time and took a lot of measurements after i ch had put the screw in the bottom of the top piece of furniture, be careful. It took an hour to assemble the tool so that the floor was swept clean. Wiring was simple enough, and the on/off and dimmer switches are within easy reach in the top drawer. The system is flexible enough to fit most showcases and furniture. On my first build I cut and clipped each wire. On my second, I simply folded the spare wire behind the back of the top drawer so it wasn't visible. Because the washers are snap-fit, it's easy if you only need five instead of six without having to cut the wires. There are two things I don't like. First, the dimming process goes from dark to light very quickly in about 2 seconds, making it difficult to get the level right. If it increases or decreases slowly at a rate of 10 seconds, it would be better. Another thing I don't like is that the dimmer loses its last setting when the power is turned off and goes back to full power when turned back on.
