Very nice collar. I love that the bow tie part is detachable as it's bulky for little kittens and my kitten didn't like putting the bow tie part on so we just use the collar without the bow tie and we love how cute even the collar itself is without it onions is . It turns out my kitten is so fluffy that you can't even see a fly through his fur when I'm wearing a bow tie. I've attached the only photo I have showing the fly when he was 8 weeks old. After that, for two weeks, you couldn't see the bow tie through his fur when I was wearing it. It would be great for short-haired cats, but a bow tie probably won't be as noticeable on very fluffy cats. I also recommend keeping an eye on the kitten when she's wearing a bow tie. My kitty freaked out about the fly and tried to bite him and his mouth/tooth got stuck around the collar and I had to take the collar off to pull his mouth off which was a bit scary. He never did it with just a collar without a bow tie. The breakaway feature on this collar is also more difficult to open than previous cat collars I've used, so it takes moderate intent to take it off, not just very light. I personally would like it to be easier, but I wonder if other people might like the reassurance that it doesn't come off so easily. Overall I really like the look of this collar and am generally happy with the collar even when wearing it without a bow tie. We've only been using it for two months but so far so good.
