Review on Enhance your viewing experience with the SAMSUNG Adjustable TUV Certified Intelligent LS32A600NWNXGO 2560X1440P, 75Hz, Flicker-Free, High Dynamic Range Monitor by Dennis Richardson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Excellent picture but poor light transmission (SAMSUNG S60A Series 24 inch WQHD).

UPDATE: Downgraded from 3 to 2 stars. I've bought 5 of these monitors (one of them a USB-C variant), three from other stores and two from Revain, and each of them has the same defect: they all suffer from significant backlight bleeding visible in the dark or lighting conditions. And each one I buy to replace another is even worse. And like my original review, I'm very reasonable with some edge bleeding, but it's really bad, it takes up entire areas of the monitor. Samsung really ruined these promising monitors, I will never buy another monitor from them again. FIRST RATING: The monitor itself looks good, feels good, is very light and very easy to assemble (screwdriver required). Took me about 5 minutes. The visual quality of the image is really good, excellent colors, 2k resolution, good pixel density and the image enhancement options are numerous and very useful. I have the perfect picture setting for me. While the monitor is good, the biggest issue is edge flickering/blurring. This is very, very bad, especially if, like me, you're working in permanent dark mode and in an always dark environment. Unless I'm watching something with a light theme, anything else I'm watching with a dark theme (or something like a dark game or movie) you can easily notice a very annoying light bleed. It's even worse when I'm coding and need to see CSS results that often appear lighter than they should; or if you're trying to work in Photoshop and anything that's dark around the edges shows a little bleeding, giving this false gradient result. In a brighter environment I think and if you work in an office all day looking at spreadsheets this monitor might suffice. But for those looking for a serious monitor, I don't think this is the right choice. The cost of this is too high for the amount of light glare, even my 6 year old monitors don't suffer from that much glare. This is unacceptable and I am actually very sensitive to such shortcomings. 3 stars overall because it really produces a good picture and you have to decide if flare bothers you. Attached is a picture of three identical monitors. I bought because I needed three for my setup. While I know the lighting will be more uneven when taking photos, I've circled the areas in red to show what's visible to the naked eye. Yes, it's that bad.
