Not as easy to use as the famous brand

I generally prefer to use the famous Cricut brand products, but I decided to give this versatile foil tool a try to see how how it compares to the original. In short: It isn't. If you're thinking about getting a foil tool, just stick with the present. This tool is sharper than the original, and you'll have to play with the pressure settings to avoid tearing the foil or cutting the paper. I had little success with that. I've attached a photo of my first attempt which was a complete failure. I was able to get slightly better results later, but it was very frustrating to ruin so much foil and practice sorting the paper. The branded version worked flawlessly for me right out of the box. Speaking of packaging, this product is seriously lackluster. The box is boring but nice, but the tool itself just hangs in a plastic bag and looks very cheap. Not only is this product not intuitive to use, but it currently costs around $23. The Cricut Foil Tool is also currently around $23. If you have money to spend, I suggest just buying the original for the same price. Overall I do not recommend this product nor do I intend to use it. This is a poor quality product that costs the same as a real one.
