First, there is no instruction manual or quick start card in the box. I left town and decided to install this system because it needed to be very easy to install and I decided to install it almost at the last minute. Some of the devices hooked up very easily, but without instructions the system could not function as a system. This so-called application is useless. Allows you to configure the camera or set up remote monitoring. I couldn't set up the camera, it wouldn't connect to my Wi-Fi, and even if it did, how the hell are you supposed to see it, the app doesn't even work to connect it. I tried to find the manual, there's all sorts of crap, but there's no setup procedure. I had to leave town with no working security system. Luckily the base station was beeping the day I came home to get water and there was some water on the floor next to the water heater. In fact, there was very little water and the sensor picked it up. This part is good. I fixed the problem and then the frustration started. There is no guide how to turn off the very annoying voice that keeps telling me about the presence of water. I still don't know how to turn off the alarm, so I pulled the battery out of the base and she finally shut up. I still hate this system and I'm willing to throw it away because it's all I need now, shit. If anyone at SimpliSafe reads this, please be so kind as to email me the manual. Step by step and how to clear the alarm and connect the camera. Please. Otherwise it's garbage.
