Review on Portable Acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30W, grey by Ada Dudek

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product can be used, I expected a little more.

Crap. Complete disorder. I sold my old charge 3, which, on duty, worked for a year and a half a lot and without failures. I thought - I'll buy better, newer, louder. Now about what I got: 1) The column is not at all louder than the previous version. 2) More mids and highs, but they sound cheap, artificial. For me, again, the third version sounded better. 3) Bass. When you listen at home - yes, there are subjectively more of them, it thumps better . but I don’t know what they tuned there - you simply don’t feel bass in a noisy room or car. Really, at 3 they were heard, but here - no! Yell high and middle. Everything. 4) That's what finished off - wheezing at max volume. JBL . just . well, how so? . (( In short, in frustrated feelings after a month of use . I’ll go and try to pay extra and buy Extreme 2, if only the large distribution network where I took the column would not refuse. My main and main advice - if you have version 3, don't spend money on version 4. And if you don't have any, buy Charge 3. Yes, perhaps. Buy Charge 3.

Pros
  • Build quality. Improved bluetooth connection from the previous version. More battery.
Cons
  • And yet the sound. One speaker plays worse than two. Extraneous wheezing at maximum volume (YES! I'm in shock myself). More weight and size.
