VERY BAD DESIGN

VERY POOR DESIGN. I was glad to get this as it's one of the more reasonable alkaline water pitcher options. My experience with it hasn't been great so far. If you fill the filter canister to the brim, there will be too much water to filter out. It would be helpful if there was some sort of maximum capacity line on the reservoir. If you start to dilute the water and there is water in the reservoir that spills out along with the alkaline water, it defeats the purpose of the jug. Also, the lid comes off almost every time you pour water, and the reservoir shifts and starts to come out as well. When filling the reservoir with water, it sometimes shifts and water leaks through the rim to the bottom of the jug, completely bypassing the filtering process. I'm at a loss as to how this pitcher has an overall rating of 4 stars. It also came with a scratch on the lid. I'm not impressed.
