These shoes are not only comfortable, but also breathable. My seat usually sweats during exercise, even in cold weather. I've been wearing them since they arrived and I notice that my feet don't sweat anymore. I still wear the same socks as my other running shoes, but since using them my feet sweat less. Thinking it was something with my body, I tried on old sneakers and saw again that my feet were sweaty. These shoes are really comfortable which shocked me. I don't use them for high-intensity workouts, but mostly when I ride my elliptical, which also includes weightlifting, squats, and push-ups. I have tile floors and wasn't sure if they would really grip, but they hold up. I had to wash them because they are a bit smelly, but after washing I just let them air dry and they look brand new again. I've even worn them to the store and even walked my dog and it's still just as comfortable. Although the small plateau in the back took a little getting used to, I found that it helped my lower back a lot. I ordered them a size 7.5 which is my size and they fit perfectly. Wearing socks is also comfortable.
