This is a great comforter for the price. I live in Southern California and this suits me well during the winter months. I would choose something warmer in colder winter climates. The duvet itself is of good quality but unfortunately is not a baffle as stated in the description. As far as I know, this is a normal stitch. It feels light and not noisy. Not too strong smell but then I washed it and it helped. It's cuddly and soft. It is very good that there are corner binders for the covers. I use this with the Hearth and Hand duvet cover and it fits great. I would recommend.
