Review on K&N Engine Air Filter E-0945: High Performance, Premium, Washable Replacement for 1995-2017 Ford Super Duty V8/V10 and Mustang by Jayme Newitt

I bought this for my HVAC van. This is a 2007 Ford E150 with a 4.6 liter engine. There was definitely a desire for a little more power as I've gotten used to Chevy 6.0L's in our other vans. I installed this and noticed a small pickup idle and better traction on the freeway and in the mountains. It's too early to tell a difference in MPG, but I've always had at least a small improvement over all my other cars. Avoid over-lubricating the K&N filter when cleaning and make sure it is completely dry before oiling. Ford MAF and throttle position sensors are very sensitive and will go hysterical if even a drop of oil gets on them. The fit and finish of this filter is perfect. It took less than 2 minutes to paste it! I will always buy K&N filters for all my cars, both professional and private. Economical and functional at a very reasonable price!
