Good for some things. VHS on TV is very good. I have it for retro gaming, Sega, Nintendo on a modern TV and if you have a TV set up for gaming, correct aspect ratio etc it takes some of the blur out. Not great, but not bad for the price either. You can spend anywhere from $2 to $400 on other devices.
