Great design for a 5-star kitchen. However, when I first started using it, I ran into a few problems: The layer that was applied to protect the wood smelled strongly when exposed to heat. And if you forget to leave it in the water for 30 minutes, your cookware will be damaged. See photo of my cooking spoon. The first use and leaving in the water no longer than 30 minutes. The protective agent dissolves after 3-4 applications. I think the best way to use it is to wash and dry it right after each use. Then maybe it would be ok. Overall I still like this product.
