I've been using this product for a few months now. On my 480ex for portrait and macro photography with flash on extension cord. Cons: What annoys me the most is that it's not very stiff. The bottom half is often curved and light cannot diffuse through the bottom half. It was driving me crazy doing portraits with very uneven lighting. I found a solution to this problem. You take a large paperclip or something similar and stick it in the seam. There is a small gap where the flash is attached to insert a thin support. This works pretty well for getting the crease out of the bottom half, but there isn't much room for more than one paperclip, it's easy to rip the seam this way, and the large paperclip only covers 3/4 of the way through the seam . Another problem is that it slips off easily, this happened to me a few times when I was photographing a client with a flash on an extension cord. Another small downside: it's so big when the dots pointing straight ahead can cover my flash sensor and can cover the top of my lens. So I keep my flash at a 45 degree angle when attached and it still works great. No internal diffuser but with the wide-angle filter folded down, correct me if I'm wrong but that doesn't matter Pros: diffuses the light well with the wide-angle filter reversed onto the flash Very mobile thanks to the body and the ability to fold, I pack at least 2 large ones Staple in to support the bottom two seams. Installs fairly quickly Overall: I think this is a good product on a budget. If there was a better way to mount it and if the seam was reinforced with a flexible metal to keep it from folding when photographed, I would give it 5 out of 5. The diffuser is lower, it wouldn't block my 430exs sensor or the top end of my lens, and I wouldn't have to tilt the sink at a 45 degree angle to use it. I still use it a lot, maybe I'll buy a more expensive one, but for the price this product is fantastic.
