WOW, just WOW!: Brake Flaring Tools

I had a superior flaring tool that I bought at a local hardware store a few years ago. My R410a split unit leaked every year and I rebuilt the flares, pressure tested the system, added new refrigerant only to come back next summer to see oily residue on the flare fitting. After much research I found that it was a flared edge which no matter how much I did with my old flare tool it always turned out to be a poor quality joint. After looking at many reviews I found that either this product or the Yellow Jacket was four times the price. The very first highlight I made was the difference between day and night (see image - the left highlight was done with this tool and the right one was done with the Superior tool). I connected the torch to the torch nut, checked the unit for vacuum and after 8 hours the system holds a vacuum of 500 microns. I've just realized how much time I've wasted on my old torch over the last few years. After all, it is German technology.
