I received this kit when I found out I was having a kitten (11 weeks old). It weighs 3 pounds and fits in a tray with plenty of room. She's not dirty when she's done, so she doesn't need high sides like my regular cats. Her paws slide a little along the bottom of the box, but she's used to it now. The scoop doesn't filter out my trash (the best in the world, made from corn), so I throw away more than I have to, but that doesn't really matter with a box this small. the second side for wet food during lunch. She can easily reach every piece. Both toys are hits. Both of mine adopted the mouse before the kitten moved in but she loves the ball and other mouse toys she has in her room. grow from it
