Review on 🔍 Enhance Precision & Efficiency: Silhouette PixScan Cutting Mat for CAMEO by Angela Rodriguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

My first application!

I had some Star Wars fabric left over from making the pillows and eyed this Millennium Falcon thinking it would make a great appliqué but I never did and was a bit nervous about it so I followed This process: 1 ) Attach the fabric to the PixScan mat 2) Take a clear, well-lit photo of the PixScan mat (MAKE SURE THE IMAGE SHOWS MAT TO THE EDGE) 3) For PixScan, import into the Silhouette app 4) Trace the pattern and make it a clipping path 5 ) Insert PixScan mat with cloth attached and cut 6) Save clipping path as SVG file 7) Import SVG file as vector into an embroidery program (I use Embrilliance on a Mac, great product) 8) Create two shapes using the imported path, one being a single stitch and the other being a wide appliqué (don't resize!) 9) Hoop and load fabric Design into the embroidery machine 10) Sew the first panel 11) Use the Sticky Spray on the ku Pull out the fabric and attach it to the hooped fabric, focusing on the embroidered panel 12) Start embroidering the second track Done! It was so easy and the result looks amazing. It's a lot of fun to use and almost impossible to do without PixScan - you have to do everything manually. If you have an embroidery machine, be sure to try it out! The Silhouette was already great with its Print & Scan functionality, but the PixScan mat offers all the functionality of Brother Scan & Cut without the clunky and restrictive web app. . A must for Silhouette owners.
