According to my 8 year old son these gloves look good and are comfortable --- when dry. The problem is that they are not waterproof at all. In fact, the description doesn't say they are. So do better than me and watch out. This is not enough for playing in the snow or permanent activities in the snow. The outer material absorbs moisture (rather than repels it) and transfers it to the fleece lining, effectively transporting water to the skin. Sort of the opposite of what you might want. If you want snow gloves that will stay dry and warm while playing in the snow, look elsewhere.
