Pleasant when serving. I've been using it for a few months now with a Thinkpad p52s with dual 21.5" 1080p displays and an external keyboard. It has been disconnected several times this week and I had to reboot it to get it reconnecting to the dock. Detect as Thunderbolt .others are like usb-c.but the little blue light went out like all functions today.REST IN PEACE.its dead jim.my first hardware is yoga 720 15",4k,gtx1050,2ch thunderbolt 3 ports, asus mg24uq 4k gaming monitor, acer monitor with 23" touchscreen and 1080p resolution. I plugged it in with the power off (replaced my current USB-c to hdmi adapter and turned on the computer. All that worked was HDMI, no USB etc. Then I rebooted with it disconnected and plugged in by itself allowing windows to find and configure everything. No glitches,59hz as with internal 4k and on asus 4k monitor.actually what I was hoping for.when I windo ws let the screens turn off.and press the button to bring them back.it still works fine.if i let the pc sleep and then wake it up.everything works fine.still 4k 59hz on both monitors with no problem. then I tried to connect acer montior. and lo and behold. it was recognized and everything worked fine. internal 4k, asus 4k and acer 1080p, everything runs at 59hz runs smooth and better than expected (with two displays i expected to lose the 59hz refresh rate but it didn't happen). But. everything is not perfect. when you turn off Windows screens or let them sleep. when you restore. You will come back. but it tends to rearrange the position of the monitors. and the 4k monitor comes back as a 1080p monitor and there is nothing in the settings to change it back to 4k. When you reload. They come back the way you set them up and edited them before you went to sleep. both 4k and 1080p at 59Hz. if you don't put the computer to sleep or the screen turns off. You can get internal 4k + external 4k + 1080p at 59Hz. What's better than performance. I expect two lower resolution monitors will wake up from sleep with no problem. Although others have experienced a rollover position, it can still be present. I don't use a power supply as the Yoga 720 draws much more than 60W with its 1050 and has its own power connector that is separate from the USB-C. Trimming it to +tb3 power for connect/disconnect is great though. Very happy with this product, I would recommend it to others. I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact that the monitors are flipped over while sleeping. I'd like to swap the ethernet port for another USB, there's no point in using a wired network in my configuration.
