Lightweight, extremely bright light holds on with two magnets. This is the second time I've lost one, admittedly the first time I was hiking up a steep trail at night and attached it to my backpack. I wasn't sure if perhaps I didn't secure it well or if it got knocked off because I was literally climbing through branches and over logs so I thought I would give it a second chance. I hung one of the lights on a ribbon around my neck and it stays just fine. normally I don't like things around my neck, but this is so lightweight that I didn't feel it. The other one I slipped over my raincoat pocket edge and by the time I had taken the trash out, it had fallen off, fortunately I saw it because the light was on as I retraced my path so I was able to recover it.In summary: If you are out exercising & wearing thin clothing and you put it on in a perfectly horizontal orientation it should stay on fine but it did not stay on my raincoat attached at an almost vertical angle so I would say it works on thin clothes or a good lanyard but not on bulky items and don't put it where it's likely to get knocked off. If you know this and take steps to prevent losing it then it is extremely bright for its size it's super lightweight.it's charged by an LED cord so I can charge it in my vehicle when I'm out traveling to different hiking locations.
