Firstly I have a lot of experience with vivvid and 3m films. In the last year alone I've sealed 5 entire cars and over 30 cars - tail/headlights/fog/accent lights and interiors. However, this is probably the worst film I've ever used. The adhesive pulls away from the film very easily, meaning that anything you apply it to will be covered by the adhesive backing when stretched (and it will). It doesn't stretch/heat up like other brands. I've tried different methods, from slow and low heat to fast and strong. When none of this gave acceptable results, I just taped it to a dirty (uncleaned) window (no heat and room temperature around 77°). removed the film after standing there for a minute. the adhesive stuck to the dirty window and the film was almost completely devoid of adhesive. After that, I cut a 4" x 4" piece of film and held it with both hands while rubbing my thumb in the same place. On the 4th or 5th pass, I was able to unroll the adhesive directly from the foil.
