This piece of furniture is made entirely of lacquered chipboard. This is an extremely cheap dresser/closet shelf material. I strongly recommend not purchasing this item. I have no doubt that the manufacturer designed this with very little carpentry knowledge. Because the finished product looks and feels like something out of a dumpster, there are chips and scratches on all parts and missing screws. Poorly designed spots where the instructions say to put the screws just ruin the material as you can see in my photos.
