We had the worst flea infestation ever. We spent hundreds of dollars getting rid of these two house cats and a dog. Nothing worked until these collars came along. I hesitated to buy them after seeing some pictures of what could happen. But we tried everything. We observed the animals (all young and healthy) closely, after three days one cat suddenly started losing hair and had abrasions on its neck. We immediately took off her collar. The other cat and dog survived the treatment with no problems. Three days in the collar were enough to rid our cat of fleas! She has long hair and it was the scariest thing. While I think the product can be dangerous if left unattended, overall it did what it said. I would rather help heal her wound than fight the 4 month flea crisis we went through. Please test your pets DAILY when using this product.
