I love my Kitchen Aid blender and use it all the time, but hate having to stop 2 or 3 times during blending to empty the bowl to get all the ingredients in the bowl mixed. A few weeks ago I was digging in Revain and came across a paddle that claimed you didn't have to stop and clean the bowl. It had great reviews so I decided to shell out $15 and buy it. I had serious doubts when it arrived and saw that the spatula was hard plastic, but decided to use it to make cookie dough for Monster High tonight. birthday of my granddaughter. Anyone who has made rolled cookies before knows that the dough is quite thick, so I expected the spatula to break in half before all the flour was added. MY. GOOD! I couldn't be more wrong! Beat the butter and sugar with a spatula until the perfect consistency is achieved. It quickly incorporated eggs and vanilla and worked like a charm when I added 6 cups of flour. But a brilliant moment came when I scooped up the batter and all the ingredients were mixed into the batter. NOTHING is left on the sides or bottom. In fact, the bowl was so clean I didn't have to rinse it before putting it in the dishwasher! If you have a Kitchen Aid mixer, do yourself a favor and order this paddle. Right now. Don't hesitate for a second. It really is the BEST. THING. JE!
