Nice top scraper!

It peels the sides of the dough fairly well, but I still need to remove a small amount of dry ingredients stuck to the blade and top sides of the bowl. I deserve 5 stars because it works so much better than the original fly knife that came with my KitchenAid.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Very nice addition to the KitchenAid mixer

I bought one of these for my KitchenAid mixer years ago and bought this for my son. I had two KitchenAid mixers, I gave him one and bought the other for him. He loves it as much as I do. Everything blends much better without having to stop and empty the bowl. Love it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good price.

This whisk is lighter than the Kitchenaid whisk because it is made of hard plastic instead of metal. I used it for cake batter and it worked great. When I tried a denser batter, the whisk was difficult to mix. This is not a problem for me as I use my own metal whisk. This whisk is well priced and good value for money.

Carefully runs down the sides of the bowl

How did I bake for so long without this? I wanted the official KitchenAid paddle attachment but saw it had more reviews. When I first received this item I was disappointed to find that it was not made of steel but some kind of hard plastic with flexible rubber edges. But after using it once, I already applied. Beats butter and sugar with ease!

Not as good as they were.

I had this exact blade for TEN years (first 2 photos) before it failed. I've handled it with kid gloves, I've never soaked it in water and I've never washed it in the dishwasher. I LOVE this blade. It was almost the only knife I used. So when it failed I replaced it with the EXACT same blade from the SAME manufacturer. I was so excited to have found it after so many years. Needless to say I am so disappointed in the new one. It's flaking off after only 3 uses and looks like it might start…

Too bad it's made of plastic.

I have an old Kitchen Aid mixer and I use the original powder-coated metal whisk. I saw this new style whisk in the store and didn't like the price so came here to Revain to find a better deal. This particular whisk got good reviews so I ordered it. Two things I found: I need to adjust the racquet on my KA as it hits the bowl unevenly in the bowl. (This is supposed to be an easy fix). And yet this whisk is PLASTIC! Pooh. I'm not sure I would have ordered it if I understood the second. I wanted…

I love it so much I'm ordering more!

I love my Kitchen Aid blender and use it all the time, but hate having to stop 2 or 3 times during blending to empty the bowl to get all the ingredients in the bowl mixed. A few weeks ago I was digging in Revain and came across a paddle that claimed you didn't have to stop and clean the bowl. It had great reviews so I decided to shell out $15 and buy it. I had serious doubts when it arrived and saw that the spatula was hard plastic, but decided to use it to make cookie dough for Monster High…

Not recommended / very light blade (plastic)

I was so excited to try my first mixing blade that scratched the sides of the bowl while mixing and was very disappointed with it. I've used it several times since purchasing it and have found that I can't fill my mixing bowls like I normally do because this mixer causes the batter to fly out of the bowl when the volume is the right amount. compared to my regular bludgeon blade. I tried this blade with a recipe that usually had plenty of room at the top of the bowl and wasn't about to pour, but

Here are the model numbers

This really reduces the prep time. You don't have to wipe the sides of the bowl when using this blade and that pretty much eliminates the need for the KitchenAid blade. However, make sure you set your blender to the ideal level so that it wipes the bowl but doesn't touch it (and therefore break it or make noise). An image with instructions on how to set up the mixer is available on one of the customer images. Also, make sure you get the correct blending blade. The website has a page listing…
