Not exactly what I was looking for. I’m trying to replace a great keyboard cover that has lived a long life, but now needs replacing. I want to be able to open it and start typing, to pick it up with one hand and carry it across the room, or hand it to someone one-handed without the keyboard falling off (which is why I hate the ones with removable keyboards). The one I’ve been using is no longer made, so I’ve been searching. It SOUNDED like this was the answer, but it’s not. This case folds over like an envelope. You open it and have to MOVE THE KEYBOARD OUT OF THE WAY to stand the screen up. On my previous case, I just opened it (no envelope-type flap), snapped the screen into place and the screen was magnetically held at the right angle. I could pick it up by either the screen or the base and hand it to someone sitting a couple feet away one-handed. Not this one . the screen is NOT magnetically held to the base. So, if I pick it up by the screen, the case falls open. If I pick it up by the keyboard, the iPad falls and risks yanking the whole thing out of my hand, also risking a broken IPad. This is NOT what I was looking for. I wish I had known that prior to ordering. Now YOU know. Back to searching for something really useful.
