One sounds great. Crisp highs, clear mids and reasonable bass in the lower range. Louder than any of my other portable bluetooth speakers. This is exactly the quality I expected from Aiwa and I am completely satisfied. The other either has a bad connection internally or the converter has burned out. The output signal is distorted and less appealing to listen to. This is very unexpected and disappointing. Revain is working with me to get another one but I am saddened to see a damaged speaker from a company that has built their reputation on a quality product. I will update my review accordingly when the new device arrives. ***** Update 09/24/21: Replacement has arrived. The original unit of the two I bought, which initially had no problems, started to distort and it sounds exactly like a torn diffuser or surround sound. Used once by 75%. It's a huge disappointment when a product from an incredible company like Aiwa breaks after just 15 minutes of use. Another star away. Will be updated again with replacement power in a few weeks or maybe after another use depending on if that is damaged too. :(
