I bought these to clean between stair banister posts. The brushes are strong and the brushing was vigorous. As long as the brush touches two surfaces by pushing them in opposite directions (two guides), it is easy to handle. Cleaning with the tip also works well. When brushing on one side only, a firm grip is required to control.
