So far so good: Cymbal rolls

Surprisingly I received four rolls even though the box wasn't sealed or sealed in any way. They arrived during the Christmas rush, which makes it all the more remarkable that the box wasn't opened. I often hear complaints that rollers don't come with brackets. They fit, but are useless for fastening to thick wood, so I don't care if they come with fasteners or not. In any case, they are metric, and this is uncomfortable for most of me, even though I have a lot of metric tools. My stock for fasteners is primarily SAE/English, so metric fasteners are not suitable for my stock system. I bought an old kitchen island at a flea market and put these casters on it for my workshop assembly table. I like that they lock and unlock more easily than some of the others I have, but that can also be an issue. I was planing a maple that was held against the table with a hand planer and had two of the four rollers blocked. I made a big cut (high pressure) and heard/felt both cutscenes unlock. The table rolled in the same direction I was planing when they were locked, so I'm sure that was a factor, but going forward I'll make sure the rollers are perpendicular or opposite to the direction of a strong force .
