The contour gauge works well enough provided you don't have to punch around a corner. The reason it doesn't work in the corner is because of the protruding black part. I don't know if there is a product that doesn't have a protrusion like this one, and this product doesn't protrude as much as the others, but this product just doesn't work when you have to push the contour gauge all the way.
