Honestly I've never seen such small ones, I laughed when I opened the package. But seriously, it heats up quickly, gets hot enough to do its job, and the handle is tight enough to twist. I only use it to straighten my bangs if you have long or thick hair that you want to curl all the way it will take a really long time. This is good for finer hair or if you just curl/smooth the ends a bit. The cord is quite long and comes with a small heat-resistant travel pouch. Very convenient, I would like to take it with me when I travel.
