I just don't understand all the positive reviews on this product. This is one of the worst conditioners I have ever used. and I've used a ton for a collection of over 50 pairs of boots. The only truth I can find is to call her "honey" because that's what she aspires to (and sticks to). It will ABSOLUTELY darken your skin and despite the manufacturer's claims, it doesn't get noticeably lighter over time unless they talk about waiting for years. Luckily I tested it on a piece of leather first and after seeing the effect I decided I would only use the product on black boots. So I chose my least favorite pair, some cheap black Justin panties, which were a failure from the start and (eventually) put her out of her misery. I applied the product sparingly but after 1 week the boots were still stained, sticky and not noticeably softer. Ok, maybe I did something wrong. But that's not rocket science. You start with a clean surface, apply a very small amount, rub in, wait 24 hours for it to absorb and buff off the excess. no Little (if any) was absorbed and the surface remained so tacky that it was impossible to polish. I put this pair aside and maybe until spring. As such, I will happily continue to wear my all-time favorite Bick 4 shoe, which has always kept my boots and jackets in top condition. To be honest, the Bick 4 initially gives off a slightly unpleasant odor (for some); kind of like what you get from silicone sealant. But it will go away in about an hour. It will ABSOLUTELY NOT change the color of your skin, absorbs quickly and completely and easily gives a nice soft glow.
